Japanese wisteria

A large and vigorous twining vine grown for its spectacular displays of long bluish purple pendulous racemes of flowers in mid spring.

Habit:Twining vine with large twisted trunks
Size:30' commonly, occasionally to 50' high or long
Color:Bright green becoming medium green
Texture:Medium in leaf, medium-coarse in winter
Hardiness:Zone 5b USDA
Habitat:Japan
Family:Fabaceae
