Viburnum sieboldii
Siebold viburnum

The 1/3" oval shaped drupes of the this species transition in color from yellow to pinkish red and ultimately black with maturity. Attractive to birds, the small drupes are present from mid July into August in their red form and then transition to black in September. After the fruit falls, the red fruit pedicels persist into the fall.
