Viburnum lentago
Nannyberry viburnum

Presenting an interesting change of colors, the 1/3" oval drupes turn from green to yellow then reddish-pink and finally black with a bloomy covering. In its early stages, the fruit is slightly ornamental. The fruit matures in early September and may persist until November or December. Although considered edible, they are primarily eaten by birds and small mammals.
