Viburnum x juddii
Judd viburnum

Beautifully fragrant and borne in ball-like clusters, the flowers are quite similar to those of Viburnum carlesii, except that they are more heavily borne and thus showier. The unopened flowers are pink in bud opening to a very light pink and then fading to white. The combination of the opened white flowers along with the pink buds is very attractive. The cymes are 2 ½ to 3" in diameter and borne in early spring. Individual flowers have 5-petaled corollas that are ¼ to 1/3" in diameter.
