Viburnum carlesii
Koreanspice viburnum

The young stems are light brown in color and moderately well covered with a short brown pubescence. As the stems age they develop a characteristic fissuring and turn gray with further aging. The distinct fissures distinguish this species from Viburnum x burkwoodii.
