Taxus cuspidata
Japanese yew

Like other yews, the bark of this species is relatively smooth, patchy and multi-colored with shades of mauve, reddish brown, tan, brown and gray mixed together. The attractive bark is not usually seen unless large plants are limbed up from the bottom.
