Taxus cuspidata
Japanese yew

The bronze-colored and angled seeds are surrounded by a slightly showy fleshy red aril in the fall. The spherical aril is gelatinous, and 1/4 - 1/3" in diameter. The seeds are toxic and female plants should not be located near where small children will have access.
