Rosa rugosa
Rugosa rose

A small to medium broad-rounded shrub with densely prickly stems grown for its showy white, yellow, pink or purple flowers that occur continuously from June through August. It is also known under the name of Saltspray rose for its tolerance of ocean-side winds.

Habit:Rounded becoming broad rounded and forming a dense impenetrable cover
Size:4-6' high
Color:Dark green
Texture:Medium in leaf, medium-coarse in winter
Hardiness:Zone 2b USDA
