Rhododendron calendulaceum
Flame azalea

Alternate, simple and elliptic to oblong-obovate, the thin medium green leaves are 2-4" long and deciduous. They are lightly pubescent above and more densely pubescent below with margins fringed with hairs. The leaf apices are acute and gland-tipped while the bases are broad cuneate.
