Pyrus calleryana 'Autumn Blaze'
Autumn Blaze callery pear

This cultivar's claim to fame is its excellent wine red fall color, along with wide branch angles. It is slightly more tolerant of cold than the other callery pear selections, but exhibits some problems with fireblight.

Habit:Pyramidal to pyramidal-rounded, with branches at right angles to the leader
Size:40' high by 30' wide
Color:Glossy dark green in summer, changing to a consistent excellent wine red in autumn
Hardiness:Zone 5a/4b USDA
Family:Rosaceae
