Pinus wallichiana
Himalayan mountain pine

Distinctively thin, long and drooping, the 5-8" slender needles are soft and borne fascicles of five. They bear thin stomatal lines on the inner sides and have sharp-pointed apices. The needles persist 3-4 years while the 3/4" sheaths fall early in the first season.
