Paulownia tomentosa
Royal paulownia

Borne opposite along the stem, these large ovate to cordate velvety leaves are 5-10" long with an acute to acuminate apex, cordate base and entire margins. The upper surface is pubescent while the lower is velvety tomentose. Some leaves are slightly 3-lobed while others are unlobed. Young vigorous plants may have leaves nearly twice as large.
