Royal paulownia

An unusual coarse-textured and boldly branched deciduous medium tree with a fast growth rate, large pubescent leaves and fragrant lavender flowers. The wood of this species is popular in Asia, being used in the manufacture of small pieces of furniture such as jewelry boxes. This species also goes by the common name Princess tree.
