Magnolia virginiana
Sweetbay magnolia

Native to the southern US, this semi-evergreen to evergreen species with glossy bright green foliage forms an excellent small to large tree. In the South, it tends to be a medium or even large evergreen tree while in the North it's a small semi-evergreen tree.

Color:Dark glossy green above with white leaf undersides that show in the wind
