Liriodendron tulipifera
Tuliptree, Yellow poplar

One of our beautiful native species, the tuliptree boasts good habit and yellow to yellowish bronze fall coloration. The flowers are also of interest, although mostly produced high in the crown. The wood is valued for furniture production.
