Ligustrum amurense
Amur privet

Opposite to slightly subopposite, the dull green leaves are narrow elliptic to slightly lanceolate, entire and 1 to 2 1/3" long. The leaf blade is slightly folded along the midrib. New leaves are slightly pubescent and purplish around the margin until mature, then green and glabrous. New leaves need a few days of sunlight to turn purple.
