Hydrangea quercifolia
Oakleaf hydrangea

An excellent coarse-textured shrub for the landscape. It has attractive white flowers in mid to late summer, good fall color and exfoliating reddish brown bark that adds some interest to the winter scene.

Habit:Broad-rounded and somewhat irregular, slowly suckering
Size:4 to 6' high, occasionally over 8'
Color:Dark green in summer
Texture:Coarse in leaf and in winter
Hardiness:Zone 5b USDA
Habitat:Georgia - Florida - Mississippi
Family:Hydrangeaceae
