Exochorda racemosa
Common pearlbush

Beautiful in their display, the newly opening bright white flowers resemble pearls. When full open, the flowers are slightly cup-shaped, 5-petaled and 1 1/2" in diameter. The odorless flowers are borne in early May with the new developing leaves and cover the entire plant. They are effective for 1-2 weeks, depending upon temperature.
