Enkianthus campanulatus
Redvein enkianthus

Culture: Like other Ericaceous plants, this species requires moist, well drained acid soils. Plants will not survive if the soils are not acidic. The ideal pH is 4.5 - 6.0. This species performs best in full sun or partial shade.

The red-veined enkianthus has few insect and disease problems.

Usage: This species makes a nice specimen plant or can be effective in masses.
