Cornus mas

Cornus mas
Corneliancherry dogwood

Culture: Very adaptable and easy to grow, this tough and durable species is cold hardy and prefers full sun to part shade.

The Corneliancherry dogwood is a very pest-free plant.

Usage: This species is used as a screen or in small groups but also makes an attractive small specimen tree. Choose a dark-colored green or red background to accent the light yellow flower display. Its early spring flowers are a measure of the onset of spring.
