Cornus alternifolia
Pagoda dogwood

Ineffective due to its dark mature color the 1/4" drupes change from green to red to black in color. The black fruits blend into the dark green leaf color. They are not persistent. The somewhat interesting pedicels turn a pinkish red in late summer.
