Chaenomeles speciosa
Common flowering quince

A medium to large spreading shrub with upright branching, grown for its early spring flowers that occur in a range of colors. It offers little other ornamental features the rest of the year.

Habit:Erect and narrow vase-shaped in youth with upright branching, becoming rounded and ultimately broad spreading with time
