Ohio buckeye

The opposite, palmately compound leaves bear 5-7 finely serrate, 3-6" elliptic leaflets. They tend to be slightly pubescent on the underside when young, but become dark green and glabrous with maturity. The petiolules on this species are 1/4" long.
