Acer miyabei
Miyabe maple

This graceful small to medium shade tree is similar to Acer campestre. It is suitable for the small landscape and has few pest problems. It's a tree with great promise but not widely available.

Habit:Oval to rounded, usually more open than A. campestre but can be equally dense
Size:30-40' high
Color:Dark green in summer
Texture:Medium
Hardiness:Zone 4a USDA
Habitat:Japan
